it is my pleasure to inform you that the certification audit was successfully completed yesterday 11th May 2011., and that the companies of Jadranka Group received again Quality Certification ISO 9001:2008, and Environmental Protection Certification ISO 14001:2004.
Jadranka Group companies have received the first certification by the quality system ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 for environmental management in 04/2008. After that, they successfully conducted two control supervisions.
This year a new certification was performed, because the same lasts for three years from date of certification issuance.
Auditors of the company SGS have visited the locations by the plan, and are generally very satisfied with the conditions. They found a few minor nonconformities, and of course, there will also be some comments and suggestions to improve the system.
All stated comments and suggestions will be considered and actions will be taken with the aim to improve the system.
The auditors particularly emphasized:
1) Excellent reception and courtesy at all locations where the audit was conducted;
2) It was seen that the system works, that employees know their role, that they use the approved work instructions and comply with the procedures;
3) They complimented a very detailed internal audit and all corrective actions that were taken immediately, and a very detailed and realistic Management Board's assessment;
4) They particularly complimented:
· Hotels Aurora and Vespera, their specialties, wellness of Hotel Aurora, and have pointed out that it has been invested a lot in trainings of 4* hotel personnel. Mr. Hajek who is employed at the Ministry of Tourism and is responsible for categorization, pointed out that there are not many 4*, hotels with where the personnel is at the 4* level, as it is the case with us. It is praiseworthy that this also applies to older workers who have worked in 3* hotel for many years. This is something that should also be continued with refurbishment of other hotels;
· New bakery and pastry shop, they said it looks like a "spaceship", and that it is good to work in that space
· Yellow board ADAC at Camp Slatina, which "blinded" them at the entrance of the camp, only 11 camps in Croatia have the same.
With the new certification an improvement is expected related to the previous, and we have accomplished it.
I thank everyone who contributed that once again we receive ISO certification, and I hope that we will continue in this direction and thus contribute to the satisfaction of our guests and customers, employee satisfaction, better business results of all the GJ companies and positive image in the public.
